Stopped by this morning on my way to view the total eclipse of the sun. This is a clean and well run Dennys. They are very busy with traveling people and locals. Great service and food.
Got in about the same time as a bus, so it was very busy but they did a good job anyway. My chicken was a little undercooked inside but too crisp outside, though I think that was due to the rush. The fall pancakes (especially pumpkin with spice frosting and cranberry with orange cream frosting) are amazing on the taste buds.
We waited forever for our food and it came out incorrect and hardly warm. The poor girl went back 3or 4 time before we finally got everything. My the time I had mine my family was halfway done. There was no cheese on my cheese fries, or ranch that I ordered. No butter for my French toast, my fiances good didn't have any of the veggies in it and didnt have his hash browns.
Edit... I stopped again today on my way back home. The food and service were very good even the second time. The eclipse was very nice too.
The waitress we had was very nice and you could tell she felt that it was going to be taken out on her. I assured her I understood that she wasn't the one actually making our food and thanked her for making sure we got everything. Sadly the manager wasn't very friendly. She took off 10% of our total which was frustrating because it was terrible.
Food was good, service was good, wait time short.
I remember eating here when I was younger and hating it. I'm not sure if they have overhauled the menu or not, but the last time I went the food was great! Me and my dad both really enjoyed our meals and our waitress was friendly.
I am only giving 4 stars because the sidewalk had a lot of cigarette butts making it a disgusting view.
The best part was to see a young lady with Down Syndrome working there, being happy and contributing to the consumer experience by doing her best at her job. Kudos to whoever hired her because she was doing fantastic!.
I had not been at a Denny's in a very long time. It was a good surprise to see this location refreshed with a new look.
